With the introduction of vMix 17.0.0.88 yesterday, vMix now has integrated Facebook Live streaming. Just enter your Facebook ID/PW and vMix takes over from there. Pretty simple, really.

But, you must be Facebook verified! Not verified? We have a solution for that, too. Watch & learn. And have fun.

Now for my rant...

What does "NDI Compatible" really mean? I got fooled last week by a cleverly-worded press release from Panasonic saying some of their cameras are now "NDI Compatible." Fooled me. Might fool you. Their cameras are NOT NDI Compatible. They only work when the NDI Connect app written by the folks at NewTek is available, like inside a PC.

NDI Compatible means... connect it to the network and instantly it's an NDI source. No other software. No other hardware. Anything less than that... and you're not NDI Compatible. Get the message, Panasonic?

This was recorded live on June 8, 2016 at our studios at Eastern Shore Broadcasting in Fairhope, Alabama. This show was produced on one PC using vMix 17 and, using Newtek's NDI, was streamed & recorded on a 2nd PC using vMix 17. Streamed at 720p & 180p and recorded at 1080p.
